Friday is for Food for Thought: Introducing The Weekly Filet

Starting next week, I’ll be publishing a weekly briefing on what to read, look at, watch or listen to on the weekend. You’ll like it.

So what exactly is this?

A weekly delivery of only the best food for thought, the filet. Right before your weekend begins, I’ll treat you to what I’ll consider the single most interesting thing of the week.

Like what?

Like an intriguing article, a stunning photograph, a telling visualisation, an excellent song, a smart video. It can be anything, really. Anything that is worth spending more than just a couple of minutes with.

And that’s it?

There will be one top recommendation every week. If you have little time, go for this one. For those who have enough time, there will be four other recommendations.

Why do I need this?

Because it’s great to have interesting stuff home-delivered to you without having to search for it yourself.

Man, I’ve got Twitter.

So do I and I love it. But sometimes it’s hard to keep track of all the dozens of interesting pieces that run across my timeline every week. The Weekly Filet will boil things down to give you one key recommendation to start into the weekend.

So you’re basically saying you’re better than Twitter?

Jup.

Whatever. What else do I need to know?

I’ll cover a wealth of topics. Justin Bieber won’t be one of them.

Who are you anyway?

I’m a journalist and consultant. I’m the author of “Kurzbefehl – Der Kompass für das digitale Leben”. And I spend a whole lot of time browsing the internet for interesting finds which – lucky for you – I am now sharing in condensed form on a weekly basis in the Weekly Filet.

Will I like it?

Oh yes, you will. To prove me wrong, you have to try it out. Ha!
